Description
Job Description: Software Engineer to conduct or participate in NTG middleware / key applications (for example, Netflix, Skype) development & enabling. With collaboration with internal and external partners, you are required to provide solutions to customers with state-of-the-art SW stacks optimized for running on Intel NTG silicon. In this position, you need to develop software in the roadmap and respond to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment and formal software process.
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree with 2-6 years of direct experience in the application software product development role or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering with 2-3 years of relative development experiences. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong at analytical problem solving
- Recognition and/or reduction and tolerance of ambiguity
- Demonstrated effectiveness in multitasking over simultaneous problem areas and/or assignments
- Highly effective interactions with teams and individuals
- Good team player, be able to work well with peers and seniors from various disciplines, employs good team practices
- Good customer orientation and ability to interface with customers and/or stakeholders from remote sites
- Good development in C/C++
- Fluent English

The following technical skills would be an added advantage:
- Excellent knowledge of product life-cycle and software development life cycles
- Skills in Linux application programming, including gcc, make, automake, gdb, shell, git, subversion, etc
- Skills in Multimedia processing
- Knowledge in Qt, Webkit and application development in Linux*
